We are what we are! One of the most entertaining classical musicals of the last half-century will be performed in Pilsen for the first time.
It takes place in the attractive environment of a travesti club in the French seaside resort of Saint-Tropez, run by Georges and his partner Albin, who, under the pseudonym Zaza, is also the main star of the venue. However, an unexpected complication disrupts the normal days of the two men, who have lived together for better or worse for twenty years, working and raising Georges' son Jean-Michel. The young Jean-Michel invites home for dinner not only his new love, Anne, but also her mother and father, a bigoted conservative politician and implacable opponent of gays. The whole visit soon takes a completely different turn from what everyone originally imagined, which of course brings with it all sorts of amusing situations. This hilarious award-winning comedy features a stellar cast led by Lumír Olšovský and Martin Písařík in the lead roles.
