The Grand Theatre

The building of the Grand Theatre was built in 1902 and is one of the important cultural monuments of the city. It was designed by architect Antonín Balšánek (also the author of the Municipal House in Prague) and the author of the curtain is one of the most important Czech painters from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, Augustin Němejc. The Art-Nouveau-style theatre is one of the city's important cultural monuments. The building of the Grand Theatre, classified as a first-category cultural landmark, is not only a beautiful monument of the past, but with many theatre legends having walked its stage, it is a vital cultural centre of the city and the entire Pilsen region.

The capacity of the auditorium is 444 seats and it offers a wheelchair access.
