A musical concert featuring the greatest hits of Andrew Lloyd Webber, the “uncrowned king of the world musical of the 20th century,” performed live with the DJKT Musical Orchestra
Following the popular We Are Musical! concerts, we now present a trilogy of performances entirely dedicated to the works of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Accompanied by the live DJKT Musical Orchestra, audiences will hear the most famous songs from both legendary and lesser-known works of the British hitmaker.
The concert will revive memories of musicals already staged in Plzeň—Evita, Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, or Sunset Boulevard—and recall hits from the currently running rock classic Jesus Christ Superstar. At the same time, audiences will enjoy “tastings” of titles yet to appear on Plzeň stages—The Phantom of the Opera, Whistle Down the Wind, or Tell Me on a Sunday. The program will also feature several numbers from musicals never before performed on any Czech stage—Starlight Express, Aspects of Love, Love Never Dies, School of Rock, or Bad Cinderella.
