The Little Mermaid

The supernal fairy-tale by Hans Christian Andersen in a ballet version is back at the Pilsen Theatre.

The supernal fairy-tale by Hans Christian Andersen is back at the Pilsen Theatre. A romantic story of a mermaid and her love of a prince from the human world, who she saves from drowning after his ship is wrecked. With the help of the Sea Witch and her potion, her tail is turned into human legs so that she can meet her loved one – in exchange for her beautiful voice. Although the paths of the mermaid and the prince cross briefly, he has already given his love to a girl who he saw at the foot of the rocks by the sea after the shipwreck. The Little Mermaid’s love remains unfulfilled and she is turned into an eternal star above our heads. This performance, full of poetry and adventure, is sure to excite not only the souls of children.
