Puss in Boots
This renewed production of the popular fairy-tale opera with fresh and imaginative music by a leading Czech composer takes you to places where the human and the animal worlds meet.
The operatic version of the famous fairy-tale by French writer Charles Perrault was created by one of the most important contemporary composers, Jiří Teml, who regularly writes works for children. Besides a number of compositions for children, he has written two other fairy-tale operas: The Emperor’s New Clothes and The Devil and Kate. Puss in Boots, an opera (not only) for children, takes you to places where the human and the animal worlds meet. And, like every proper fairy-tale, it has a happy ending.
