One flew over...

One of the icons of American postmodern literature, Ken Elton Kesey, whose novel One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest won Forman's 1975 film of the same title five Oscars.

The image of American society, in which uncompromising conventions exclude individuality and expressions of personal will, attracted young German choreographer Dustin Klein to freely transpose the famous work into a dance form with the experience he gained in realizing his earlier work for the Stuttgart and Munich ballets or the Stanislavsky Theatre in Moscow. The intimacy of the Black Box allows the choreographer to deepen the psychological image of the individual characters and to touch on the moral essence of the famous novel.
