The ballet transcription of the Oscar Wilde's novel is every bit as mystical as the original. Amplified by Liszt's and Bach's music, it offers the audience a surreal story in a succession of dramatic acts of the Bohemian hero whose conscience succumbs to the sensuality of eccentric life. The new original choreography by Richard Ševčík admirably interprets passionate emotions, narcissist self-admiration and erotic insatiability.
Premiere on 17 October 2014 at the Black Box.
