Sugar or Some Like It Hot

Peter Stone, Jule Styne, Bob Merrill

Although producer David Selznick did not consider the idea of director Billy Wilder to have machine guns, corpses and gags in one films as too clever, Wilder disobeyed him and thanks to that, one of the funniest movies of all time, Some Like It Hot, was created in 1959. Fast pace, witty dialogues which are based primarily on the conflict between male thinking and women's clothes, beautiful and seductive singer Sugar, the presence of 'women's' swing orchestra, gangsters and a billionaire are the ingredients which can result in nothing but a great and entertaining musical.

Premiere on 29 November 2014 at the New Theatre.
