In the last years, the opera company of the JK Tyl Theatre has regularly presented fairy-tale operas for the youngest audience. The latest premiere will be the first staging of the famous Puss in Boots tale written by the well-known French fairy-tale writer Charles Perrault. The fairy-tale opera on this theme was written by one of our most significant contemporary composers, Jiří Teml who regularly writes for children (he created two other fairy-tale operas). This chamber opera is the biggest project of Lilka Ročáková to date as a director.  The fairy tale presents opera soloists, a children's choir and a children's ballet company.

Premiere on 20 February 2016 at the Black Box.
