Times are hard, times are bad. And 'Europe is in crisis'.
Cabaret Burka is not a typical cabaret – despite having almost all the features: there will be dancing and there will be singing. It will be fun.
A documentary production made into a cabaret was created specifically for the intimate space of the JK Tyl Theatre's Black Box and focuses on the manner and nature of public debate. The creators drew inspiration for the play from real cases that have recently shifted and are still moving the Czech media space and social networks.
How do we create our opinions and how much are we influenced by the media? Are we able to listen to and respect the views of others? And what can we openly laugh at and applaud to?
Premiere on 9 April 2016 at the Black Box.
