The world-renowned choreographer and director Youri Vámos, who is known for his transformation of classic ballet librettos, had found a parallel between the seventeen-year-old Anastasia and the Sleeping Beauty of Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, whose music accompanies the story that is far from a romantic fairytale. The grand setting at the New Scene will present the historical theme through ballet and romantic musical composition.
